I assume that there are a lot of people that are genuinely picky over their temperature preferences.
Some people that I assume personally like to have the control unit in their homes set to one particular degree and they refuse to change it to anything higher or lower.
If they’re especially finicky, then they’ll throw a tantrum when they cannot have their indoor a/c exactly the way they want it. If you ask me the whole thing is kind of ridiculous, however occasionally you live with or assume deranged people. While this might be somewhat expected with people, have you ever heard of pets being picky over heating and cooling systems? It’s tploy and apparently it’s a real thing. I didn’t believe it until I got our cat. My neighbor has a pet and she told me that her pet was genuinely sensitive to the gas furnace. If the house wasn’t sizzling enough then he would continuously go and bark at the control unit until she turned it up! It was a pretty deranged story and I had a hard time believing her. I was sure the pet was sparking at something else and she just thought that he was barking at the control unit. Then I got our cat. My cat does the same thing except it’s the a/c. He will meow endlessly if it’s not perfectly cool in the house. He’ll even go and lay in front of the control unit, he has l earned that it is what is responsible for his indoor comfort and he is determined to get exactly what he wants. Now the more than one of us talk about how deranged our pets are and all of us can both relate to how weird it is that they are even picky over the heating and cooling system.
