I was quite excited.
This weekend, I was going to be going to see our Grandpa’s old chalet in the woods. This was a spot that our siblings plus I would visit all of the time plus our Grandpa would tell us spooky stories. I remember getting so scared by some of those stories, but consistently wanting more! Sadly, as every one of us grew older, our visits became less frequent, because every one of us had to worry about schoolwork plus household chores with our parents. Then our Grandpa passed away plus I visited the chalet briefly for memory’s sake. My siblings plus I talked over the nice times before leaving. That was decades ago. Now, with a family of our own, I was hoping to continue the tradition. I took our young kids with our husband plus every one of us all visited the chalet. It was just how I remembered it, except it looked a lot smaller since I had grown. While I had a fantastic time scaring our kids with stories, it was kind of difficult to focus, because of the lack of air conditioning system. I guess the lack of air conditioning system didn’t bother myself and others as a kid, but it entirely bothered myself and others as an adult. This chalet had never had any form of heating plus cooling. Rather than have an fancy Heating as well as A/C installation in the chalet, I decided that next time every one of us come over, I will buy a portable HVAC system device before the trip. When I was done telling all of the stories, our kids were too scared to complain about the lack of Heating as well as A/C.
