My house is my castle, plus I am the Queen.
I don’t know I am a bossy person, but I was raised to recognize that when someone owns their own home plus pays all the bills, that no 1 else has a right to tell them what to do.
At work, I am a humble employee. At church, I am a quiet parishioner. But when I am at home, I am the Queen plus my word is law. My grandchildren were over visiting last weekend, plus 1 of them had the audacity to change the settings on my control unit. I sat them all down instantly plus had a stern however friendly talk to them about never touching my control unit without my permission. Even if they are dying of heatstroke, they still need to ask myself and others to change the control unit for them. They are never to kneel hands on it! My words did not have the right effect, so I had more than one options – either I beat some sense into the kids or I found a way to protect the control unit. The new political weather conditions means that no 1 is allowed to smack their kids around anymore, plus since I don’t want to go to jail I obtained a plexiglass lock-box for my control unit. The lockbox worked out perfectly, because the kids could still see the control unit readout, however they couldn’t get their grubby little hands on it! Now they have no options, plus can never access the control unit without the key I wear on a chain around my neck. They still deserve a beating, in my opinion.
