I started taking public transferation when I was in middle university so I could get around our big city without relying solely on our bicycle for travel.
It’s legitimately convenient, especially if you get a bus pass & can save on the travel fees.
Once our sibling & I took the bus as far as the aquarium in the city adjacent to the north. Every one of us were happy to be taking a bus trip without our parents for a change however they had shown us how to do it countless times. The two of us drained the cash every one of us had been individually saving from birthday & holiday presents to get admission to the aquarium & souvenirs from its gift shop. I bought a big stuffed shark & our sibling bought a Dunkin Donuts Coffee mug, a t-shirt, & some small toys that can be used as tinker devices. One thing that every one of us liked about the bus, aside from the affordability & convenience, is that it always had nice heating & cooling inside. Every one of us lived in a region of the country that always got more than 2 distinct seasons every year. If it was the middle of summer, the bus had the a/c running at full blast. However, usually winters were even more extreme than our summers. That meant all of the buses in the city needed nice heating systems to keep all of the passengers hot on their trips from endpoint to endpoint. My sibling & I were never chilly when every one of us rode the bus in Fall & Winter in our hometown. Occasionally I miss the simplicity of public transit & the free time you get to yourself to read or work that you never get when you’re driving a car.
