My kids are in a lot of trouble.
- They were rough housing around in the hallway the other day and they ended up breaking the smart thermostat! The smart thermostat got cracked right down the middle and fell off the wall.
Because of this I had to go out and buy another one the same day because as a result the central heating and air conditioning system fully stopped working. When the thermostat is broken you have no heating or air conditioning. My kids are grounded for a month and not allowed to go out and play with their friends. After school they have to come right home and stay in their rooms. This will teach them to rough house around and break things! The smart thermostat did not cost that much and the smart thermostat was easy to install, but that is not the point. It is the point that if they were not acting up the smart thermostat would not have broken in the first place! They need to learn to listen to their parents and the house rules. Needless to say, the central heating and air conditioning system is working fine again. It was only out for a few hours while I went to the store to buy the brand new smart thermostat. I certainly hope that nothing like this ever happens again. Because although smart thermostats are not that expensive, if it keeps happening every other month it could add up to be quite costly to keep buying new smart thermostats.
