My family doesn’t go out to eat absolutely often.
I live with my wifey, plus our several kids, however her parents also live with us.
Taking 7 people out for a nice supper is shockingly high-priced these afternoons, which means all of our large meals are made right here at home. Thankfully my wifey plus her father are both amazing cooks, so the meals always taste great. A few months ago the people I was with and I started having problems with the ventilation system in the kitchen. The air ducts leading out of the range hood were so old plus dirty they were basically useless. I tried my hand at cleaning the air duct, however when pieces of it started splitting off in my hands I knew the people I was with and I needed professional help. It turned out that the air duct in the kitchen was as old as the house, meaning it was 40 years old. The house itself is still in amazing condition, however the air duct should have been substituted several years ago. Sadly, the cost to have the air ducts in the kitchen substituted was more than I anticipated. The Heating plus Air Conditioning contractor I worked with provided myself and others a payment plan, so I could pay for half the cost up front, plus make monthly payments on the balance. It only took him 1 morning to remove the range hood, take out the air ducts plus air vents, plus substitute everything with brand modern unit plus parts. The modern ventilation system in the kitchen was a hefty expense, however considering how much the people I was with and I cook at home, I love to know of it as an investment.
