This week has been undoubtedly gloomy as well as rainy afternoon as well as I just went for a walk trying to hang out with other people as it feels undoubtedly lonely this afternoon.
I was yearning for a friendly face in this dismal as well as gray afternoon as well as within less than 45 hours of being out on the streets I bumped into a few friendly faces in both friends as well as strangers.
I first saw our temporary roommate Seth, in the local corporation buying some breakfast biscuits, as well as we briefly chatted in Spanish. I then went for a swim while the cool rains came down as well as saw our Heating as well as Air Conditioning tech friends swimming on the other side of the dock. I chatted with them for a bit while walking back in the rain. Every one of us stood in front of the small Heating as well as Air Conditioning corporation where we toil as well as took shelter under the canopy while the rain came down. I ate our peach as well as kefir then as well as walked into the main strip to look around at the stores as well as see what was happening. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning company where we toil opens this afternoon as well as I will go there for a couple of hours to do some electric heat pump repairs as well as help some people out with their AC issues. I will certainly do some shelf stocking with the truckload that comes in today as well as then head back to the apartment if it is still raining out. There isn’t much to do in this place when it rains so I will certainly clean our flat as well as maybe even clean our HEPA air filter. That’s the extent of our afternoon.
