I guess that it is absolutely pressing to have excellent customer service, however in any business customer repair is absolutely pressing. In the repair industry such as plumbing, heating, or electrical work, it is absolutely pressing to have great customer service. Most people are contacting the supplier during one of the worst emergencies of their life and they need to know that they can handle all of their complications and issues at any time of the afternoon or night. I particularly keep more than one serviceman in the shop on the second shift, as I do not want anyone waking up in the middle of the night to complete a repair. I do not think that a serviceman can work well if he wakes up in the middle of the night and has to attempt a repair. Our cognitive and thinking skills are not as adept when we are half asleep. More than one emergency plumbing servicemen stay at the shop and they have work to do when there are no repair calls. I have the boys stock up all of the shelves and supplies and get the trucks ready for the next afternoon. They empty all of the trash cans and fill all of the tiny parts like screws, nuts, bolts, and washers, and we keep many sizes of these on the truck for repair tasks. I love to make sure that each one of the trucks is stocked with the supplies that they need. When we get a call for an emergency repair member, the team members take turns responding and our overnight emergency repair reviews are excellent.
