The windows are truly large and heavy too

When our hubby and I got married every one of us simply eloped. The people I was with and I didn’t do the large wedding where a bunch of money was wasted. That meant I got handed a bunch of money that I have now been storing in our bank account, everything our hubby got from her family is for him and I kept what our family gave me, however it is our money to do what I want with it. I have been looking around and I want to put it into the house. I don’t want to remodel the master powder room. That project will come later. I want to do something that I wouldn’t normally spend the money on. I am toying with numerous options, and option one is I could get modern siding for the house, and currently it is a stained, white vinyl siding. I want something a little more rustic and tough. I hate the feeling of vinvil. I want a distressed wood look and brown. The cost of the siding upgrade is quite costly though. It wouldn’t just be a siding replacement fee since I want a totally unusual material, but another option is doing window replacement in the home. All of our windows are entirely old. They can’t open and have fogged glass. The windows are truly large and heavy too. It would be nice to hire a professional window corporation to do the work. Thankfully both of these tasks can be done by the same dealer. I just can’t decide which one is the priority… Do I want prettier siding or better windows? What is better in the long run?
