The short vacation had been so relaxing.
We decided to leave the city and head to a rural location at the end of October.
This wasn’t anything planned, but we just felt it was time we did something fun. At times work can get too busy, and we forget to be with each other. Of course, I took care of all the planning, and she had all the bags packed by the day we were set to leave. When we came back, there was already snow on the ground. Winter had come early, but that wasn’t new to us. We have a reliable heating system that we’ve been using to keep us warm for the past 6 winters. This heating system has been a life saver. It rarely has any need for repair because we make sure we do fall maintenance. The HVAC technician comes by once a year to test it, and let us know if there are any faulty parts. So far, it all seems okay. Back when we arrived from the short vacation, I went to turn on the heating system to get the house warm and comfortable. However, an hour later, it still felt a bit chilly in our home. So, I checked the thermostat and realized the settings were incorrect. It’s important to always check that you have the right settings on your thermostat. This could be the reason for poor heating in your home.
