I saved up money for 6 months so I could buy a brand new car.
I gave the dealership a sizable down payment and I got a good interest rate from the finance department.
My car took 6 weeks to arrive, but it finally made it to the dealership last week. I drove the car off the lot and I took it downtown and into the mountains. I drove a lot of different places that day. I wanted to try out all of the different features inside of the car and I wanted to show it off a little bit. I took the car over to see some friends in the afternoon and one of my buddies wanted a ride. He insisted on turning on the ac, even though we had the top down. When the AC would not work, I was concerned. We tried to turn the AC up to the highest level and no air came out of the machine at all. Even on the lowest setting, the AC unit did not seem to work. I immediately drove the car back to the dealership and told them that they had to figure out why the AC unit wasn’t blowing cold air. I wasn’t going to take the car anywhere else until that problem was fixed. The dealership gave me a loaner car and they spent 3 days looking at the system. When they finally called me back to give me an update, they informed me that the problem with the air conditioner was a wire that was not hooked up inside of the car and under the hood.
