I did not have any weird smells or a feeling of muskiness in the air. A few years went by and I started to notice that it always smells stale when I walk into my home. I am a neat freak and I do not like my home to smell anything but fresh. I reached out to my friend and she suggested that I should talk to an HVAC professional about air purification options. I contacted my local HVAC company to get some advice and air purification help. The HVAC worker on the phone discussed some air purification options that their HVAC company offers and suggested that an HVAC technician come to my home to further discuss options. I set up an appointment for an HVAC worker to come to my home the following week. The HVAC worker, Steve, was very friendly and informative. Steve asked me if I suffer from allergies and asthma. I told him that I do suffer from both conditions and the muskiness in the air of my home seems to be exacerbating them. Steve went over different air purification options such as buying air purifiers for each room and potentially getting a whole home air purification system installed. He suggested a HEPA filter system. I realized that the HEPA filter system would be expensive, but I think for my health conditions and sanity it would be worth it. I decided to have the HEPA filter system installed.
