My child has been having the best time since she joined kindergarten.
I must confess I was a little distraught if she would adjust to being away from her dad & I, when I found out I was pregnant, both of us agreed I’d cut back my hours at work, & raise our child until they joined school.
I was back at labor on the exact day she went to school working full time & it felt great. But, I was also distraught about her being with strangers all day, then come pick up time, I was early waiting to hear how it went, & she had the best time. Her hair & clothes were messy which I always take as a sign of a child who had the best time, however last winter, she had to stay condo for one day because the heating plan at school had failed. Man let myself and others tell you, this little girl threw the mother of all tantrums. She couldn’t understand how both of us had heating in our home, & both of us refused to take it to school so she wouldn’t miss being with her lecturer & friends. My child honestly told her dad to detach the heating plan at our home, & take it to school in his car. When they finally repair the plan at her school, daddy could go back & take it. The people I was with and I tried our best to explain that’s not how things work, but she kept crying & saying both of us didn’t want her to be with her lecturer. It took my sibling coming for her to spend the day for our child to calm down. The lecturer called later in the day to say the heating plan was back on & I shared the hilarious events of that afternoon.
