Before I bought our home, I lived in numerous home buildings.
- The last rental component I lived in, was half a double home.
I had a oil furnace for our unit, plus there was a oil furnace for the other unit. I needed to have an HVAC business scrub the oil furnace plus get it ready for winter, so I called the local HVAC supplier. Two afternoons later, the HVAC business plus I were looiing into this square hole that led down to the oil furnace. There wasn’t a ladder or folding steps plus the people I was with and I were both wondering how she was going to get downstairs to the oil furnace. I called the property owner plus asked him how the people I was with and I accessed the oil furnace. She told myself and others I had to ask the neighbor to let him in so she could down the basement stairs plus then enter into our oil furnace area. The neighbors were working. She then told myself and others I could go into the attic plus go through their attic door plus get into their home that way. I didn’t want to be arrested for entering their apartment when they weren’t home. She said to leave a note saying that she gave us permission. I was not going into their home by going through the attic, just to get to the oil furnace. If that was the only entrance, she needed to come over plus open the door for the HVAC business. She gave myself and others a thirty afternoon notice for eviction because I was being stubborn. The HVAC business told myself and others I’d be fortunate if she didn’t charge myself and others for chopping the lease, plus I just looked at him. I had a feeling she was right.
