I’m currently going through a hard phase financially, and in order to save money I’m living in our mother-in-law’s flat.
One day I was working on our laptop when the doorbell rang, two women answered the door.
One of the men, who claimed to be the landlord, asked if her heating, and air conditioning worker could go into the kitchen to take measures. I didn’t guess too much about it, so I let him in. After they left I forgot all about it and we continued with our business. However, a few afternoons later, our mother-in-law told myself and others she got angry with the landlord because she turned up unannounced. She told myself and others that due to council regulations, they cannot have the air conditioner cables on the exterior facade. So they have to carry out works in order to remodel the wiring plan so that they are in the interior patio. She was furious about this because she recently had her air conditioner repaired plus now has to deal with a lot of hassle. On top of that, it’s the middle of summer, I have no idea how my friend and I are going to manage without a cooling device. I assume my friend and I may have to buy a fan just to make do with that in the meantime. The heating and air conditioning worker told us it may take 1 to two weeks for the completion of the task. Another idea is to go away and stay in a hotel with an air conditioner repair in the rooms. Luckily I work online, so this is doable and practically the only way I could escape the intense summer heat.
