I would love to have an electric car one day, but I’m not sure how much I would use it as I am not a big road trip person.
I like the simplicity of riding my bike around town like I do in this village each day.
But maybe taking some small trips to other towns in the country would be fun, and doing so in an electric car would be kind of cool. I think I’ll wait a few more years till those self-driving cars come out, and make it relaxing as well as cool. A good HVAC system in the car is crucial, and I’m sure the new heat pumps and a/c units in the electric cars work very well, as opposed to the old cars I used to own that never seemed to have cold a/c. I used to have a 1986 Oldsmobile and it seemed I was always driving in the summertime with the windows down trying to get some cool air. I made my own a/c system in the car when I would hold a cardboard piece out the window to scoop in the air while I was driving. It must have looked really funny to other drivers that would pass me. I just wanted air conditioning, even if I had to make it myself! Now I just ride my bike around town and don’t have to worry about things like that anymore, as mother nature has a really good climate control system for us people not driving cars.
