As a child, I remember it getting pretty scorching where I come from in the south, then in summer the thermometers could absolutely reach 35 degrees Celsius.

While my buddy and I were at that time, to cool down by the sea, my buddy and I had a flat I used to share with our cousins, which had a playground plus a pool. My buddy and I had so much fun together! Each year, our grandparents rented from the north. They would fly down to visit us while my buddy and I were in the Easter holidays. However, they were not used to such burning temperatures, so it was lucky that my buddy and I had an air conditioner in the flat. Otherwise, it would have really been too painful for them to be able to stay with us. One year they came to visit and they went through a disappointing moment. The air conditioner broke down, plus it was reportedly the hottest Spring in 25 years. The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning worker was nowhere to be seen, even though my companion and I tried to contact him numerous times. My grandma was starting to pant, she was getting dangerously red in the face. My friend and I urgently needed to get the air conditioner fixed, plus it was a nice task our grandfather used to do heating, and air conditioning installations. It was hard work, however, with perseverance, he managed to finally get the air conditioner repaired. My grandma started cooling down, my mate and I no longer had to put up with the scorching heat, so my friend and I celebrated with delicious ice cream!
