It was time we went somewhere to relax and get away from our busy lifestyles. It’s always nice to think about quitting your job and starting a company is the key to freedom. And in some ways, it is, but, you end up working 24 hours a day to set up a business. Thankfully, we had time when we were setting up the new venture. We both had to work from home during quarantine, so we started it as a side hustle. Our jobs had required us to take home half a paycheck as a way to retain our positions. So, the side hustle helped to fill what we lost. Little did we know this would be something we enjoyed doing, and we quit our jobs when it was time to go back to the office. The winter season of 2022 was the first time in 2 years that we took a break to travel and relax because of the busy schedule. We chose to go to a mountain cottage where there’d be heating, and appealing views. My partner found this amazing mountain cottage, and reviews were impressive. The owner, who we spoke with directly, assured us the best stay, and even said the heating was on point. However, that first night at the cottage we had to use additional space furnaces he’d shown us to stay warm. Perhaps we just aren’t used to such cold weather, but we complained to him about the bad heating. He came by and showed us how to adjust the thermostat, and we felt much better during the remaining stay.
