Jason felt quite odd in his own office because he worked for such a large business. However, the break room was where he felt the most isolated. Nobody seemed upset about how awful the air quality was. The thought of starting a revolution came to him one day. Jason prepared a report on the state of indoor air quality and gave it to his boss, yet, nothing happened. His frustration led him to consider taking extreme action. Perhaps Jason required surgery to change whatever it was that made him super sensitive to the atmosphere. But then he recalled his buddy’s advice about an air filter. It was the right thing to do. After much thought, Jason settled on buying the premium air filter that promised to improve the air quality of indoor air by as much as 98%. Although it was costly, it was worth the investment. The air filter for the break room was ordered and it was installed. The situation changed for the better. Jason felt like he could finally take a deep breath of cleaner air. He felt truly accomplished after he made a positive change at work. But this great feeling ended sooner than expected. The air quality returned to its previous disappointing state some afternoons later. Jason was confused. He spent so much money on the air filter, and it doesn’t seem to be working.
