Buying a current a/c for my RV

I never considered owning an RV until the last couple of years. As a kid I always enjoyed the idea of road tripping in small cars in addition to then stopping to either camp in a tent or stay in a hotel room. But when you get older you lose the desire to do any of these things in addition to the thought of having an RV becomes absolutely tempting. My Grandparents had an RV when I was a little kid. They used to take long road trips across the country so that they could go see their family in British Columbia north of the Canadian border. Back then it was one of those outdated school RVs that wasn’t certainly nice on the inside like the ones that you find this week. They had an outdated window a/c that provided the cool air for the interior. The RVs that you find these days have a myriad of different cooling systems inside. You can even get a ductless mini split for an RV. My RV needs a current a/c in addition to I’m considering a ductless mini split this time around. They are a little bit more costly right now however at least they’re effective at keeping the interior cool during the hottest Summer weather. I could not imagine just putting a cheap window a/c inside of my RV in addition to calling it a day. I would definitely need something more sizable than a basic window a/c for my RV. Sometimes people use portable a/cs in RVs however they’re harshly inefficient with electricity usage. You can buy two-hose portable a/cs that are marginally better, however I’d rather invest in a better cooling system right out the gate.
