The Heating plus A/C serviceman said there was no way to know how widespread the rust was separate from going into the attic plus looking into the walls.
I was in the basement doing laundry when I happened to look up. I knew the ductwork was throughout the basement, despite the fact that I had never unquestionably looked at it. It was high enough that I didn’t need to duck to keep from hitting my head. I saw some dust come off the ductwork, which got my attention. When I looked up, I noticed there were some rust around the joints of the ductwork. There was also small spots of rust in other parts. The more I looked, the more rust I saw, plus I was beginning to get distraught. I knew I could not afford current ductwork. Metal ductwork was high-priced, plus if it was rusting in the basement, where else was the rust. I feared ot was widespread throughout the entire ductwork system. When my spouse got home, I pointed the rust out to my spouse. He had the same troubles I had. He suddenly called the Heating plus A/C corporation to have someone come out plus check the ductwork. The Heating plus A/C serviceman said there was no way to know how widespread the rust was separate from going into the attic plus looking into the walls. He said my friend and I could get a ductwork cleaningg crew to the house, plus they could check with cameras. They could also wipe the ductwork, plus put some adhesive in that would help to seal the ductwork from the inside out. They would tell us if my friend and I needed to consider current ductwork, or if the rust was simply surface rust, which is what he was thinking. My friend and I had him call the ductwork cleaners while he was there.
