I had just used up the last of my boiler air filters, so I called to see if she could get a case of air filters for the boiler plus the air conditioner unit. I told him the make plus model of the HVAC system plus she said she would see what she could do, then several days later, she showed up at the apartment with two large boxes. She told me a case of air filters from the HVAC supplier, contained twelve air filters. What I obtained at the home center was a case of six air filters. I used a box a year, plus obtained modern air filters the following year. I asked where I needed to keep them plus if they had to be kept dry. She nodded plus said they should be in the basement or in the garage if it was heated plus air conditioned. The air filters would be picking up on the humidity plus it could ruin their integrity. My wife found a place in the basement for the boiler air filters, but she didn’t want the AC air filters there. I had to clean our my pantry to find room for the air filters for the air conditioner unit. I thanked my sister for her help, but I knew I would go back to using the air filters we obtained at the home center. It was more extravagant, but we didn’t need to worry about not having enough space to store them.
