I love going on long road trips. I went on the first one when I was 18 when a bunch of friends from college insisted on driving two states over for a concert. We turned it into a miniature road trip and had a blast the entire time we were gone. We even met women along the way that joined us for the concert. Ever since that experience, I have definitely enjoyed going on road trips for any reason. I’ll even make an excuse out of it if I need to visit a family member or loved one. I know that sometimes this can get expensive and maybe even flying on a plane could be an easier mode of transportation sometimes. But I enjoy hitting the open road and finding whatever awaits me along the way. But it’s hard to go on a road trip if you’ve got a poor vehicle to take with you. I’m really lucky that I have a credit card with one of the major car rental companies and I get really good deals on car rentals. And I wanted to go on a road trip recently so I rented a car with a really good air conditioner inside. It’s a summer road trip and I know that we will be hot along the way. Having a car with a good air conditioner is essential for a comfortable road trip. I took one trip in the winter one year with a car with a bad heating system and we froze the whole way. And then another road trip in the summer with a car with a bad air conditioner and it resulted in the same issue.
