Whenever my mom got sick, I paid the heating bills myself with a new part time job.
She was having a lot of health troubles and I did not actually know what to do to help his other than try to contribute to the family bills as much as I could.
Of course, I am just a teenager, and I cannot actually make all that much currency because I am still in university, but I knew that I could have a little bit and so I got myself a part time job and I decided that I was going to pay as many of the bills as I possibly could. I was pretty proud of myself in the end because the whole time that he was sick and dealing with all of his treatments, I paid for the heating and cooling bills. My mom was honestly appreciative of the fact that he did not have to worry about paying to heat and cool the loft while he was dealing with all of his treatment. She said that I was the best child ever, and it consistently made me laugh. I mean, I did not actually do all that much. I just worked at a little ice cream shop after university and I paid for the heating and cooling bills so that my mom did not have to worry about it at all. Now that my mom is better than my buddy and I are through all of that exhausting time, I have decided to keep on paying the heating and cooling bills for his anyway. My mom has a lot on his plate and I like to help out as much as possible.
