Whenever my mom got sick, I paid the heating bills myself with a new part time job.
She was having a lot of health problems and I did not really know what to do to help her other than try to contribute to the family bills as much as I could.
Of course, I am just a teenager, and I can’t really make all that much money because I am still in school. But I knew that I could have a little bit and so I got myself a part time job and I decided that I was going to pay as many of the bills as I possibly could. I was pretty proud of myself in the end because the whole time that she was sick and dealing with all of her treatments, I paid for the heating and cooling bills. My mom was very appreciative of the fact that she did not have to worry about paying to heat and cool the house while she was dealing with all of her treatment. She said that I was the best kid ever, and it always made me laugh. I mean, I did not really do all that much. I just worked at a little ice cream shop after school and I paid for the heating and cooling bills so that my mom did not have to worry about it at all. Now that my mom is better than we are through all of that terrible time, I have decided to keep on paying the heating and cooling bills for her anyway. My mom has a lot on her plate and I like to help out as much as possible.
