It seems as if I have tried everything under the sun to stay hot at my desk in the winter months.
I have purchased a space heater, I have dressed in several layers, as well as I have even used a blanket at my desk.
It seems like there is typically something going on. In the winter months, the door is always being opened as well as closed, resulting in uneven rapidly changing temperatures in the section where my office is located.The rest of the office is closed off as well as does not experience the cold air coming from the outdoors each time the door is opened. I thought that having a space heating system under my desk would solve my problem, even though I have found that this only warms my feet as well as legs. This is nice, however, my hands are typically cold. I feel like I should be wearing gloves inside. The only solution I can find would be to transport my office further from the front door. I like that I can see who is coming as well as going, but the inconsistent temperature at my desk is going to drive me insane! I finally spoke to the apartment manager about this issue. He told me that because the windows are so large, there is a major draft coming into the office from all angles. My nice friend and I are located near the ocean, as well as the wind can get intense, however gary told me that he would have someone come out to seal the windows on the top as well as the bottom to try as well as prevent this exhausting draft from coming in.
