With the startup of the PC, there was the charger issue.
With the IPhone, there was the touch screen adjustment issue. With the smart temperature control, there is the dependance on WIFI. Without WIFI, there is no smart temperature control. My friend and I learned this the taxing way during a recent outage in our area. My friend and I didn’t once consider the fact that without WIFI, my nice friend and I would not be able to control the heating and cooling system. Last Wednesday, my office building experienced an internet outage that lasted 6 hours. Despite this being a very tied up day for the staff at this office, my nice friend and I were unable to access any of the programs or databases my nice friend and I needed to be successful. On top of that, my nice friend and I had little to no direction on what to do with all of the patients that had questions regarding their billing. The worst part of the whole day was not having control over the heating and cooling. At first, I figured it was just a “when it rains, it pours” situation, however then I realized that it was just another downfall of the internet outage. I called the handyman of my office building and he told me there was nothing I could do until the internet came back. My friend and I decided to close the office for the remainder of the day and be done with it. Without the internet, my nice friend and I could not see patients or be successful in any other aspect of our day. The internet was correctly restored the next day and everything was back to normal.
