Many of my friends plus family members like to joke that I am an “old hippie” at heart.

I feel I have to confess that I do like to live a laid back lifestyle plus I consider communing with nature my happy site.

Living a simple life just seems easier than dealing with the hustle plus bustle of village life. I own a small cottage on the edge of the neighborhood plus I have lived there for the past thirty years or so. I knew it was time to make some changes plus make the home more enticing to future shoppers so I started with curb appeal. I chop back some of the overgrown vegetation that provided it that unkempt look. I never minded the natural look of things however I knew I would want to sell the locale plus retire to a warmer climate plus I needed things to look new plus fresh. A coat of paint plus a new porch were next. I continued inside with cosmetic changes but when a friend visited they asked about the guts of the house. I wasn’t sure what they meant until my associate and I started talking about wiring, plumbing plus my heating plus cooling system. They told me that those things were more pressing to prospective shoppers than what color the walls were. When I met with the local Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractor he suggested changing over to mini split units plus removing all the seasoned radiators that were in the house. He said that these units would be able to handle both heating plus cooling more efficiently then the modern furnace plus window fans that I used. I never really liked the idea of A/C however I understood that it would increase my home’s value plus help it sell faster.
