I love to ski and snowboard. Each year, my family takes a trip to a region that has very cold weather for a winter family outing. We usually spend a week or so skiing and catching up. The snow is always a nice change of pace from what we are used to. The region where we live is hot and humid and everyone needs an air conditioner. In order for us to survive in this region, we must have a space heater and a fireplace in each room. We like to sleep under a lot of blankets and other layers, as well. We are happy when we are warmed by the fire and can see the snow falling outside. The weather is always nice and we spend a lot of time outside. One time, we went on this annual vacation to find that the heating in the cabin had not been working for a while. We called the owner of the cabin we rented and told him what was going on. He was not concerned at all. We had to relocate and fight for a refund for the money we had already spent on the cabin. The heating was never fixed and the people after us put the same reviews online. I think that the owner must have died, because the repairs were never done. In such a cold region, a proper heating system is vital.
