I am in charge of planning all the events for my office.

• I work for a giant supplier and planning parties for a lot of people can sometimes get easily tricky! Not everyone prefers the same kind of drinks, food and event space.

I try my best to accommodate everyone but there will still be people that aren’t content with all the hard work I have put into an event… Every year there is someone who goes on and on about how they would have done this and that differently. I want to just tell them they can start planning the office events from now on. However, I don’t easily say that because I like my job, even though I try to just improve from there. I take everyone’s suggests and right them down so I can reflect the next time I have to plan an office event. One thing that everyone agrees on though is a properly working heating and cooling system. If the temperature of the room is comfortable I will get less complaints. My friend and I have had events where the A/C stopped working halfway through and it was a nightmare. I can’t tell you how various people came up to me complaining about the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system not working, it was brutal! So now when I am doing my planning I make sure to ask whoever owns the place all the details about their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. I know this might sound easily absurd but it has saved me in the past asking if they have a working A/C.
