My partner and I have recently decided my pal and I want to go on a road trip.
My friend and I appreciate being able to travel, but right now my pal and I are tightening our belts on our finances. I advocated that a road trip might be a wonderful way to travel without having to spend a ton of money. I have a fuel efficient vehicle and my pal and I are able to fill up my tank for around $25. I thought it might be nice to stay in less costly hotels, since my pal and I would only be staying for the days and then wake up early to drive. My partner thought all of this sounded great so I started planning. I appreciate looking for cool hostels hidden within a sizable neighborhood and you can regularly meet the coolest people, but everyone has a certain story to tell of their traveling adventures… So, my pal and I set a date in the late Summer time for our road trip, however the day finally came to leave and my pal and I were more than ready to get away. My friend and I drove for twelve hours on our first day and my pal and I were so tired, and when my pal and I got to the hostel, I was ready to crash for the night. I walked into the room and was hit by a wall of heat and humidity. I thought on the website they mention a air conditioner window component in each room! Boy was I wrong, I went to the front desk and found out that none of the rooms have a/c window units. I was hoping they would have a least a fan to keep us cool, but I was wrong again. The front desk attendant said the reason they charge so little to stay at their hostel was because they didn’t have a Heating and Air Conditioning system to maintain. They don’t put this on the website because they don’t want the lack of air conditioner units to scare away guests, however next time I will genuinely call and make sure my pal and I have an a/c in our room!
