I am in charge of planning all the events for my office. I work for a important corporation and planning parties for a lot of people can sometimes get entirely tricky, however not everyone prefers the same kind of drinks, food and event space. I try my best to accommodate everyone however there will still be people that aren’t triumphant with all the strenuous work I have put into an event, and every year there is someone who goes on and on about how they would have done this and that differently. I want to just tell them they can start planning the office events from now on. However, I don’t entirely say that because I like my job, however I try to just improve from there. I take everyone’s suggests and right them down so I can reflect the next time I have to plan an office event, and one thing that everyone agrees on though is a respectfully working heating and cooling system. If the temperature of the room is comfortable I will get less complaints. My associate and I have had events where the air conditioner stopped working halfway through and it was a nightmare. I can’t tell you how several people came up to me complaining about the HVAC system not working, it was brutal, however so now when I am doing my planning I make sure to ask whoever owns the locale all the details about their HVAC system. I know this might sound entirely crazy however it has saved me in the past asking if they have a working air conditioner.
