I have been babysitting for the same family since I was in highschool.
I feel at this point I have been with them for about five years.
I look after their two little boys everyday after school until their parents come home. It particularly isn’t too much work plus they spend my money me particularly well because I have been with them for so long at this point. All I have to do is start preparing brunch plus help the boys with their homework. It is normally particularly straight-forward stuff so we are able to finish before their parents get home. However, this week they are having radiant flooring installed in all the washrooms so we have to be out of the house while the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C contractors are there laboring. It has been hard to keep the boys focused on school while we are in a restaurant or going to the park. They are distracted by the everything around them. I have never heard of radiant flooring before plus I knew the boys would start to ask me questions so I started to do some research. I feel radiant flooring starts with having pipes installed under the floors. These pipes convey tepid water so the floor above gets warm. I am sure I will never be able to afford radiant heating in my own home, however it is cool to get to experience while I am babysitting the boys. I feel their parents make a lot more than I originally thought because after doing my research on radiant flooring I found out it cost much more than I thought. Maybe I should ask for a raise because I know they can afford it!
