I have been babysitting for the same family since I was in highschool.
- I know at this point I have been with them for about five years.
I look after their two little men everyday after school until their parents come home. It really isn’t too much toil plus they pay me really well because I have been with them for so long at this point. All I have to do is beginning preparing dinner plus help the men with their homework. It is normally really easy stuff so we are able to finish before their parents get home. However, this week they are having radiant flooring installed in all the powder rooms so we have to be out of the home while the Heating plus A/C companys are there toiling. It has been hard to keep the men focused on school while we are in a diner or going to the park. They are distracted by the everything around them. I have never heard of radiant flooring before plus I knew the men would beginning to ask me questions so I started to do some research. I guess radiant flooring starts with having pipes installed under the floors. These pipes transport tepid water so the floor above gets warm. I am sure I will never be able to afford radiant heating in my own home, but it is cool to get to experience while I am babysitting the boys. I know their parents make a lot more than I originally thought because after doing my research on radiant flooring I found out it cost much more than I thought. Maybe I should ask for a raise because I know they can afford it!
