My family and I have a favorite restaurant in town that my good friend and I regularly take our out of town guests too.
My associate and I rave about the restaurant so much that sporadically the people my good friend and I take are let down because my good friend and I talked it up too much.
This happened to us last yearwhen my good friend and I had some friends from university in town visiting. My associate and I talked about the restuirant and then took them a few mornings later; Right when my good friend and I walked in I knew something was off because it was really warm in the restaurant. I was perspiring almost instantly because it felt like they had the heating system running. I asked the server at the front if I there was anything they could do to get the air conditioner back up and running before my good friend and I sat down to eat. The server said they had an Heating and Air Conditioning tech working in the back to try and have the air conditioner back up and running as soon as possible. I told our friends that my good friend and I would have to come back the next afternoon so my good friend and I would easily love the restaurant to its full potential. I know our friends are getting angry about us talking about this restaurant so much however at this point my good friend and I have to take them back. I hope that after all of this the restaurant doesn’t disappoint our friends because that would be pretty embarrassing if they didn’t like it. I feel my good friend and I are going to have to wait until tomorrow to find out if they like it or not.
