I am going to send my children to their Grandparents apartment for about three weeks this Summer while they are out of university.
I know it will be good for them to get quality time with their Grandparents and their cousins that they don’t get to see genuinely often.
I hope the youngsters are excited and not going to be uneasy with me about this decision, despite the fact that I actually do know they will enjoy it, but my parents live in a small country town, but there aren’t a lot of people in the town or several things to do doing, however that was part of its charm growing up, however, there is one thing I am sad about when sending my youngsters up there. My parents don’t have a central heating and cooling system. They only have a couple of fans in the apartment that they use to keep them cool. I know my youngsters are aware of the HVAC issue, however hopefully they won’t see it as a problem. My youngsters are used to being able to set the air conditioning to whatever temperature they like because my good friend and I have temperature zone control in our home. It helps us save money and energy. I also don’t have to hear the youngsters argue about the temperature of the air conditioner. I can’t decide if I should tell the youngsters before they leave because I know it will make them uneasy about the whole trip. I assume I am just going to let them know and hope for the best! I actually hope I don’t regret this decision.
