I am going to send my children to their Grandparents house for about three weeks this Summer while they are out of school.
I feel it will be good for them to get quality time with their Grandparents plus their cousins that they don’t get to see absolutely often.
I hope the kids are happy plus not going to be frustrated with me about this decision, however I particularly do feel they will prefer it. My parents live in a small country town, however there aren’t a lot of people in the neighborhood or numerous things to do, however that was part of its charm growing up; However, there is one thing I am sad about when sending my kids up there. My parents don’t have a central heating plus cooling system. They only have a couple of fans in the house that they use to keep them cool. I feel my kids are aware of the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C issue, however hopefully they won’t see it as a problem. My kids are used to being able to set the cooling system to whatever temperature they like because we have temperature zone control in our home. It helps us save money plus energy. I also don’t have to hear the kids argue about the temperature of the air conditioner. I can’t decide if I should tell the kids before they leave because I know it will make them miserable about the whole trip. I feel I am just going to let them know plus hope for the best! I particularly hope I don’t regret this decision.
