Looking for remote office – must have excellent heating

Nick February 16, 2024

For a few years now I’ve been doing this remote job for extra money.

It’s a pretty great gig, considering how predictable and straightforward it is.

When you already have numerous jobs on your plate, the last thing you need is more variables to complicate your life. I cherish that I can just sit down and do my work, and know what I’m going to be compensated for. The one thing I don’t love, is being isolated when I’m toiling all the time. It’s pretty taxing to just be alone all morning long staring at a laptop. That’s why I’ve been looking for some remote labor spaces. I think it would be helpful just to be around other humans occasionally. However, there is one thing that genuinely complicates toiling with other humans. That’s their air temperature preferences. I happen to have a pretty small window of comfort. I like my indoor air to be between the temperatures of 73 and 74 degrees at all times. Something about air any warmer or colder than that we’ll just handicapped my brain. I’m also not a fan of having air blowing on me. I do not like to feel the ventilation in action. I’m not a fan of overhead ceiling fans. And I do not like to sit underneath air vents. With all of these things in mind I’ve been a pretty cautious about signing up for one of these group labor spaces. I’m afraid that they are going to have silly temperature control settings and I willjust freeze all morning long. If I’m spending money to be in a peculiar space and increase my productivity, I want to make sure that I’m comfortable enough to genuinely make those changes. A lot of that comes down to the indoor air quality.
