There is no real nice way to put this, so, I will just tell you that my family is on the fat side! We all are big boned, tall and overweight. My parents, Grandparents, siblings, even my cousins are all just giant people. This makes for some rather harsh things when it comes to being content in our home. For as long as I can remember every one of us have had to order in things like mattresses for the beds, chairs for the family room table, & even our living room sets online for a larger size and a studeir frame. This is because we are all over 200 pounds and over 6 feet tall. There is nothing light or small about us. We just don’t fit in the normal sized stuff. It is like living in a land of all vikings at our house. When friends come over they sometimes find it hard to sit on some of the furniture because it is all over sized to fit our larger frames. Thankfully every one of us have a carpenter that is really talented & can create the things that make us comfortable when we need it to be. Take our living room set, the man custom made the frames & they are more like large benches. The woodwork is such that it is both charming & durable & it sits higher than most couches or chairs would. The guy then hired a custom upholstery locale to make cushions to go on all the pieces that make it really comfortable to sit on. It also means that down the line, if we all want to change the look of the room, we can just have the cushions changed.
