Not too long ago, a friend of mine came to me and said his uncle was selling his RV.
We had often talked about my buying an RV and he thought I might be interested.
He told me that the RV hadn’t been driven very often and it would probably last me for quite some time. The sales price was almost a give away and I couldn’t resist the temptation to buy. I didn’t take it to a mechanic to have it checked out, so anything that happened when I bought it and left on a vacation was all my fault. I just couldn’t wait to hop into the RV and take a cross-country trip. I had already planned on taking the trip, but I was going to rent an RV. Now, I had the opportunity to go across country in my own RV. I left right after work on a Friday afternoon. By the time I hit the desert region, it was already dark and it d cooled down considerably. I had the windows open and I was cool and comfortable. About an hour into the trip and it began to get hot. I turned on the air conditioning and nothing happened. It was like I hadn’t even turned the AC on. Air was blowing, but it was tepid at the least. I needed the air conditioning unless I wanted to only drive at night. I pulled in to the first service station and I asked if they had any coolant. Luckily they had one can of coolant, but it was enough to get the air conditioning to give me some relief. I guess I should have checked the AC before leaving on my trip.
