I, for one, am ready to go to a friend’s house and crash on the floor, if it means getting some air conditioning
I live in an apartment building that has not had any air conditioning for over a week now. I don’t think there is a single person in this apartment building that hasn’t called the maintenance crew at least once. Some of us have called them twice. It is the middle of summer and they don’t seem to think that air conditioning is important enough to get fixed. I’m not sure what their problem is with repairing the air conditioning. We have twelve apartments here and everyone is to the point where it is getting more and more difficult to even get up in the morning. Most of us have jobs to go to and we are more tired in the morning than at night. At least we have jobs that give us air conditioning. I think it is inhumane to have people living in the apartments and to not fix the air conditioning. We all pay our rent and we should have the repair done quickly. I sent a letter to the owner, but he says we need to contact the superintendent. How many times and how many people need to contact the superintendent before he does something about the air conditioning. I, for one, am ready to go to a friend’s house and crash on the floor, if it means getting some air conditioning. I would even pound on a stranger’s door if they would let me enjoy their air conditioning. I need to be able to think and I think my brain is frying from lack of air conditioning in my apartment.
