It takes a lot to make me angry. When I was younger, my temper was hot, and my ability to get mad at the drop of a hat was second to none. That’s nothing to brag about, mind you – I’m much happier now that I’ve figured out how to mellow myself out, and not get so twisted over the little things. So, you could imagine how mad I had to be the other day to actually kick an HVAC repair technician off of my property! Let me rewind here. This all began about a month ago, when my wife and I were at home relaxing on our couch as we were reading books and enjoying the peace and quiet. Only the gentle hum of the A/C system could be heard, until we suddenly heard this terrible grinding sound coming from the air conditioning system vents! Scared and paranoid, I quickly got up and shut off the air conditioning system at the source. I promptly called the first heating, ventilation and air conditioning repair service I found online, which is how I got to meet this particular repair technician. I took a deep breath as I explained the sound we heard, and the technician flat-out told us that he couldn’t fix it with his tools. What was in this guy’s toolbox, anyway?
