I was very excited to be in my new office at my house.
- I have always wanted to work from home, and my new job allows that.
I work for a marketing company that pays me to write articles about HVAC equipment. It can get kind of tedious some times, but I can work at home. Since I wanted an office space at my house, I was given one of the rooms upstairs. I was given this one because it is the work climate-controlled room in the house. Though the furnace and air conditioner reach this part of the house, it doesn’t stay as comfortable as the rest of the rooms. It is drafty, which means that I can get chilly while I am working. I am not sure why the heat escapes this room, but I knew that I couldn’t adjust the thermostat to make it warmer. If I brought this room up to temperature, the rest of the house would become like a furnace. It would be awful. Instead, I decided to purchase a space heater for my new office. This space heater was the radiant kind of space heater, which meant that I wouldn’t get distracted by the sound of heater running. It had a thermostat on it, so I could adjust the temperature easily and not have to run back and forth all of the time. With my new space heater, my office is very comfortable, and I am able to work more productively than ever before. Once summer comes, I will be able to decide if I need a small air conditioner in here as well.
