You know, it genuinely grinds my gears when I see someone taking advantage of having new component and appliances, but my sibling is a single of those people who will pet a new car or pickup truck to death, and wear out the transmission before the car is even a single year old; He’ll treat the appliances around his house the same way! When I go to visit him at his site, he and his spouse both savor to run the a/c idea at the coldest possible temperature, and it blows my mind! I’ve gone over to visit them on sizzling Summer evenings, and I swear to you that they had the control unit set to fifty-several degrees.
I’m not joking! It’s so cold in their house, I usually find myself shivering and eager to leave as soon as I can. They’re not much nicer to their oil furnace, as the electric furnace they have in their basement takes a correct beating from them just to sizzling the house to their heart’s content… Christmas a few years ago was a real eveningmare, as I went to spend Christmas Eve at their home, then upon entry through their front door, I nearly turned around and left – it was easily 85 degrees inside their house, and it was only in the forties outside! The funniest thing to me is that my idiot sibling will often complain to me about how his systems, appliances and other component are always in need of repair. “I don’t get it”, he’ll tell me, “I use the heating and a/c component as much as anyone else. Why do they need repairs all the time?” I had to keep myself from spitting my drink out of my mouth! What a fool.
