I was easily happy to be in this new office at our house! I have always wanted to have a job from home, and this new job position allows that.

It can get kind of tedious sometimes, but I have a job at home. Since I wanted an office to my own at our house, my wife told me to take one of the rooms upstairs. I was put in this one because it is the least climate-controlled room in the house. Though the furnace and air conditioners reach this area of the house, it doesn’t stay as comfortable as the rest of the rooms throughout. It is drafty, which means that I can get cold while I am working. I am not sure why the heat constantly escapes this room, but I knew that I couldn’t ever adjust the control unit to make it warmer. If I brought this room up to temperature, the rest of the house would become extremely warm. It would be awful. Instead, I decided to purchase a great space heater for the new office. This particular heating device is the radiant kind of space heater, which meant that I wouldn’t get distracted by the sound of a loud fan running. It had a remote control unit on it, so I could adjust the temperature from my desk and not have to run back and forth all of the time. And then the other thing with this new space heater, the once-drafty office is now easily comfortable; and, I am able to write more productively than ever before. Sadly, once summer comes, I will have to decide if I need a small air conditioner in here as well.
