The trip was wonderful even though I was looking forward to sleeping in our own bed as well as now that wasn’t going to happen for multiple afternoons
For Christmas last year the teenagers offered our husband as well as I a trip to the Caribbean… This year all of us are celebrating our 35th birthday birthday so it was nice to have a way to get away! We booked our trip for the middle of December so all of us can escape the ice as well as cold for multiple weeks. We flew to Miami where all of us were to meet our ship as well as when all of us left the home everything was fine. We had arranged to have the mail stopped as well as one of our neighbors was going to keep an eye out for anything they saw that might be a problem. The problem was, what was going on inside the home was not visible from the outside; Apparently while all of us were gone the oil furnace had broken as well as no one had any way of knowing, and i’m not sure how long it had been off, but, all I think is that all of us came new home to a basement filled with about an inch of ice as well as broken pipes throughout. The temperature is while all of us were gone were in the twenties so over time the home got too cold causing the pipes to cut as well as flood part of the basement as well as the kitchen area. This mangle was obvious from the moment that all of us walked in as well as our husband called the Heating as well as A/C supplier while I made reservations at a local hotel. The trip was wonderful even though I was looking forward to sleeping in our own bed as well as now that wasn’t going to happen for multiple afternoons. The Heating as well as A/C people were wonderful as well as showed up within an hour to service the oil furnace but as it started to hot the home all of us had a lot of cleaning to do. The friend came over to help as well as apologized for not knowing that something was wrong but all of us assured him that there was no way he could have. There has not been a power outage or anything so he never would have suspected there was a problem with the oil furnace.
