My bestie and I moved into a new apartment a few months ago.
The arena isn’t exactly what we thought it would be.
When my bestie and I looked at the apartment, we honestly thought we were looking at the place that was going to be ours! Instead, it was a model apartment that is better than any other one in the building. Our actual apartment did not look as nice as the one that the manager showed us on the Friday before we moved. It has been genuinely problematic to get any work accomplished in the apartment. I called to have the dishwasher fixed last weekend, and the service specialist gave me a dirty look when she came to the door. She spent 30 minutes looking at the dishwasher and then she actually disappeared. When I called to have the AC device repair, my bestie and I waited 6 whole hours for the service specialist to arrive. We left the woman alone in the place for 5 minutes, while we were out getting groceries. The woman was supposed to be there to service the AC device, although she stole our brand new headphones. They were resting on the desk next to the AC device. After the service specialist was gone, I could not find my brand new headphones anywhere. I’m a little aggravated that my bestie and I signed a one-year lease. I would love to leave this arena right now. If I can’t trust the manager and the staff workers, then there is no reason for my bestie and I to continue living in this apartment building.
