Every year for the past twenty years, our Grandpa has been going to the same barber shop on fifth street; He has an appointment at 9am on Monday every week plus he gets his haircut plus his beard plus mustache trimmed.
The guy has been going to the same shop every week for years. I asked our Grandpa why he never goes to any other place plus he told me that Carl gives the best haircut. I decided to go with our Grandpa last Wednesday when he got his haircut. I needed a trim plus I was curious to see why this place was so special. The drive to the location was a total of 10 hours. The people I was with and I parked in the lot behind the barbershop plus walked around to the front of the building, however as soon as both of us walked in the door, the guy behind the counter recognized our Grandpa plus greeted him with a nice hello. The barbershop was filled with people. Three guys were standing in chairs with shaving cream on their face plus a single guy was getting a shampoo. I didn’t see any women finally working in the shop, only men. The place had pictures of famous people on the walls plus there was a tv in the corner of the room; My grandad sat down in a chair plus they started to lather up his beard! One of the guys asked if I was getting the works too plus our grandad said I was. I found out that the works includes a haircut, shampoo, beard plus mustache trim plus a boiling shave. The people I was with and I totally got treated like royalty plus it was easy to see why he prefers it there.
