There are times when we even get to work together. It is honestly impossible to complete a full replacement job without another person being there to help out. Even with many people, a full Heating plus A/C replacement job can still take a good part of the day. My best friend and I were sent out to a farm property to replace a heat pump and a/c equipment. The morning appointment was arranged for 9 a.m. and my boss told the homeowner that we would be there working on the Heating plus A/C replacement job for the length of the day. When my good buddy and I arrived, we noticed a sizable black dog relaxing on the front porch. The animal seemed to be friendly. He was wagging his tail although he was chewing on his bone. My friend and I got out of the job truck and I decided to walk up to the front door to speak to the customer. I was halfway down the walkway when the animal hopped up from the porch and started chasing me. He was growling and snarling viciously and I thought he was going to bite me. I leaped into the back of the van before the animal could reach me. I instantaneously called the homeowner and reported the aggressive animal behavior. I wanted to help with the Heating plus A/C equipment replacement job, but I wasn’t going to take any possibilities with the dog. I got bitten one time in the past and I had to have a bunch of stitches in my hand.
