Seems like many house builders don’t know how to position air vents

I easily prefer moving, I guess that’s an unpopular opinion, although I prefer a fresh start, except for one thing… Doesn’t it smell when you transfer into a brand new place as well as have to adjust to all of the new blueprints? I feel as though it takes me years just to get used to walking in the door, setting down my belongings, as well as using the dwelling appropriately. It takes me weeks to discover where every light switch is as well as what every button does. Don’t even get me going with how annoying it is to understand the logic behind the closet as well as light switch placement! Now that my energy bill is on my mind, I’m finding that several dwelling builders are baffled when it comes to placing indoor air vents. I can’t be the only one around here who has standards when it comes to their indoor air quality levels as well as steady temperature regulation. Not only do I expect my central heating as well as cooling appliance to be quiet as well as efficient, although I anticipate my home will have HVAC vents in semi logical positions so the air temperature doesn’t fluctuate constantly. So, tell me, Why is there a single air vent in my living room, as well as it’s directly over the window. I’m paying an arm as well as a leg to maintain my indoor heating as well as cooling appliance, as well as the air is being released directly to a route outside! Why isn’t there a single vent in the lavatory for air ventilation as well as heating? I also can’t seem to get why there would be an HVAC vent positioned directly over the gas heating appliance itself. Whoever built this place did not even think about the energy bill or indoor comfort.
